PLEO Recommendations to the 2018 Budget Consultations

Each fall, as appointed by the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, the all-party Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services seeks the public's input on next year's provincial budget through public hearings, written submissions, and an online survey. 

On October 12, 2017, Martha Rans, legal director of Pacific Legal Education and Outreach Society and project lead of Law For Nonprofits, made a presentation with recommendations to the 2018 Provincial Budget to the Committee on behalf of the Society. The draft Hansard transcript can be found here.
